AFRA is The Australian Furniture Movers Association.

This is a voluntary professional member body that requires a very high standard of service and accreditation from members.

In order to ensure a professional move it is advisable to only enlist the help of removalists who are AFRA members.

(Be Aware – as the furniture removal industry as a whole is mostly unregulated those removalists who are not members of AFRA account for the vast majority of the incidences of poor service that occur in the removals business – these do happen regularly – we often get called to pick up the pieces of jobs half done or no shows or worse).
